I’ve made 3 different demon hunters and none of them can learn Draenor or Northrend engineering. My first DH is a Belf and is now level 120. He has learned the starting recepies for all the other engineering (and mining) but can’t learn Draenor or Northrend for some reason. I have googled and gone to the right people and no luck with all 3 of my DH. The second DH is also Belf and has learned some of the basics. My third DH is a Nelf. I thought that maybe it was a Belf problem/bug but I guess it’s not. My 2nd and 3rd DH are still leveling up but that shouldn’t matter.
Is this a DH bug or something? Any DHs out there that DO have Draenor and/or Northrend engineering?
Draenor engineering book can be purchased from the engineering trainer in your engineering bldg in your garrison, or alternately purchased in Ashran.
Northrend engineering is taught by Timofey Oshenko in old Dalaran.
I don’t have a garrison. How do I get one? I’ve also tried Ashran with no luck for some reason. Also how do I get to OLD Dalaran? I’ve tried him in the Broken Isles with no luck. I’ve even tried buying the books to “re-learn” anything I might have lost/forgot if I changed professions. It just says “This spell is already known” In red letters in the top middle of my screen when I try to read it.

As to Northrend Dalaran, the easy way is to take the portal in the hall of portals that reads “Portal to Dalaran, Crystalsong Forest.” The hard way is to catch the boat at Stormwind Harbor that goes to Valiance Keep and fly cross-country. I recommend the easy way, because it’s pretty easy.

Well heading to “Old Dalaran” did the trick. I’ve got 2 of my 3 DHs started training on Northrend engineering. Thanks again Sniperorc!
Now does anyone have any advice on how to learn Draenor engineering?
I believe you need to start your Garrison to be able to learn Draenor engineering. You will need to follow the WoD starter questline for a bit before you can unlock your Garrison. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/48022

So what happend to this poor guy anyway? Did the teleportation of the city cause hime to forget how to train me in engineering? lol. He DOES teach me in Old Dalaran but doesn’t seem to want to in the Broken Isle Dalaran.
