I have recently started doing engineering (and mining) and I’ve gone around and started learning the basics, Cataclysm, Pandaria, Zandalari, Legion, & Outland but for some reason I can’t even get the option to learn Draenor or Northrend engineering or mining. I have gone to the trainers in Dalaran and Warspear where your supposed to go but they wont even offer me the option to learn them. I put in a ticket in game but still no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Or do I have to wait for Blizzard support to get to me? How will I know when they finally get to my ticket? Do they send you a message in the mailbox or something? Maybe an email?
I made a level 110 DH trial character and then applied a boost & I just hit level 120 if that matters.
Draenor mining is learned via mining a node and learning the book it drops. I don’t know why you can’t get engineering in Ashran from the engineering recipe vendor. I have never had a problem with it.
Northrend mining is learned from the person in the building that becomes the archaeology building in Legion. For Northrend engineering, make sure to talk to the guy just on the left side of the door as you enter. The goblins don’t teach regular engineering.

Just made a new Blood Elf DH on a different realm. This time I just made a new one. No boost. He can’t learn them either.
Just made a NE DH and went to try to learn Northrend engineering first chance I had. No can do with this guy either. I went to the guy “Timofey Oshenko”" in the Dalaran engineering shop. All he will teach me is basic engineering. Am I missing something? I can’t be the only person with a problem here. lol.
Are there ANY DH out there that have Northrend and/or Draenor engineering?
I still haven’t heard anything from Blizzard about my original ticket I put in with Xandron.
I just taught Northrend Mining to this guy. I already had classic mining. I looked at the Engineering guy and I saw classic engineering as learnable and Northrend Engineering right below that.
I also mined a Blackrock ore node and got “A Treatise on Mining in Draenor” from it. I can’t look at what the Engineering guy has as I don’t have Engineering. However, I got the “Draenor Jewelcrafting” book from the JC recipe vendor (the trainer doesn’t teach anything for WoD) and learned it just fine.

Remember that in Draenor you learn from your Garrison and as for Northrend…are you going to the right Dalaran, there are 2 versions of Dala.
But I dropped eng and having to relearn and I got both.
Northrend doesn’t begin from Dalaran, you start in either Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord - and that’s where the initial profession trainers are located. I would try one of those areas first, before trying to find any in Dalaran.
