Looks like a possible workaround:

The cause was found, it’s playing cut scenes on older CPUs that’s causing it. They are aware of it and have a post going up soon, in mean time I was provided with this work around open config in wtf folder and add or modify this line SET playIntroMovie "10" basically the cinematics are playing with missing cpu instruction set. This was missed in beta/ptr because the cinematic wasn’t enabled on the beta/ptr. It’s pretty standard for blizzard to only package the cinematic with release build. So…
