Game: Season of Discovery
After downloading and installing the most recent client update, I can no longer launch WoW Classic SoD. After the most recent reattempt of scan & repair, I see an error from Windows when I try to launch the game: “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application.”
What I have tried:
- Scan & repair
- Made sure all my drivers were up to date
- Ran memtest to ensure my RAM was good
- Forcing DirectX11 via command line

flag - Allowing DirextX12 by omitting
-d3d11
flag - Completely reinstall
- Delete my local Wow folder entirely and reinstall
I have not downloaded/applied any Windows updates in the past week.
Not sure what else I should be trying but it seems like I’m effectively locked out of the game.
