Cant just delete crap in bag anymore?

Lord…did they change something else again?
Ive always clicked on crap I dont want and then drag it out of my bag to delete it entirely.
its not working for me now…did they change it or is there something maybe wrong in my end?

Nothing will let me delete it now…not even gray crap.

That’s happened to me in the past, was an addon issue. Don’t recall the name, whatever makes your bags all one inventory. Maybe check that first.

dont have any bag addons.
Tried one of them ,didnt like it all being in one big bag.
I’ll try disabling everything and see what happens.

well crap.
Even with all my addons disabled it still wont let me delete even grays.

I came back from Vol’dun just now and dragged out Briny Salts from my bag and deleted them just fine on all my alts.

Hope you can figure out what’s causing it.

huh…disabled addons…still wasnt working right.
Enabled all addons and then it starts letting me delete again.
Probably is one of the addons.

Sometimes it wont let you if there is too much stuff around… but I couldn’t tell you what specifically interferes, sounds like a long shot but have you tried pointing your camera at some other direction or moved 20 feet away from where you are?

Fun fact, the entire wow ui is based on the Addon On framework, so an addon you installed before can mess up the base UI even when disabled. While this may sound crazy, the fact it was done this way allowed addon authors to be as flexible as they are with the UI and provides an overall net plus imo.

I’ve noticed sometimes things just won’t delete when dragged unless I hit the other mouse button anymore. Doesn’t happen all the time. Just an annoying little bug. I especially notice it when trying to take something off my bar. It’s like it just gets stuck to the pointer and I’m just wiggling it around going ‘Heck the heck off my mouse!’

To that end, I wish we could delete old legendaries from legion that suck, I will probably never equip them again, or at least let us put them in void storage. So many taking up bank space it’s kind of bad.

I noticed this too, what you can try is drag the item off your bar then right click… and it should go away :stuck_out_tongue:

I know this post has been 5 yrs ago but I had this same issue and found an option to combine all bags to one and it solved my issue
