Hello, I’ve been trying to complete A Flame, Extinguished for a few days now by forfeiting the quest, disabling all addons, and I’m at a loss on what to do now. I have relogged and changed zones multiple times. I’ve reset the instance. I’ve even tried it on different days. I have checked wowhead as well as looked up a video guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-vfwYGv9UI), but I cannot talk to the NPC in the campaign instance like they do.

I’ve tried submitting a support ticket, Ticket Number: US92773746, but they told me to post a bug report.

I am having the exact same issue. I am able to complete the first part, but the “retelling of Sakareth’s story” I can’t complete. There is no one to interact with to get this story and it doesn’t trigger anywhere inside the cavern. There are several forums referring to this issue on Blizzard too. Please fix, WoW!

Once I completed the Thaldraszus storyline, I was able to progress A Flame, Extinguished quest as expected. It seems that the quest has some unspecified prerequisite quests and it will allow you to start it even when you haven’t completed all the required quests. (Note: This is the first toon I’ve done the Dragon Isles questline with, so this issue may not persist on alts)

Same here and my ticket response is a cookie cutter response that says nothing… I see what portion my monthy whale sub accounts for costomer service…
