i am trying to infuse the rank 2 Azerite Essence crucicle of flame on my heart of azeroth and i cant. ill go to the forge and click the item and nothing happens, then i try with other Azerite Essences and is the same thing nothing happens. my heart of azeroth is rank 70 with 2 ninor Essences slots and i cant infuse any Essences.

Is the Heart of Azeroth equipped before you try?
Same issue as the OP, and yes my Heart of Azeroth is equipped, and I am standing on the Heart Forge (which has been activated through the appropriate quests, btw) with the essence interface opened. I right-click on my Token of Death’s Door to infuse it, and nothing happens. The one that gave me Crucible of Flame did not cause any problems for me. I tried relogging, switching specs, un-equipping and re-equipping my Heart of Azeroth, turning off all addons, clearing cache, and so on.

Same issue on my hunter, I’ve had no issues with my warlock.
EDITED to add; New essence today and now my Warlock is glitched as well. This is a serious issue and nothing is being done to fix it, terrible support for the player base in this game just terrible WOW.

Joining in on the chorus of “same here”. Got Converging Lens of the Focusing Iris in my bags and my HoA equipped but the channel to learn the essence will not start. Really a shame, it’s one of the BiS essences for UH TWing and I could crush the meters a little bit harder if I could just learn and equip this thing.
EDIT: Got an in-game whisper about my issue! It’s a well known issue and they tried several fixes after logging into my account attempting to force it into my list of known essences, but to no avail. They’re flagging the bug and recommend trying to learn the essence after the next major patch. Not sure when 9.1 is hitting but guess we wait and try again then?

Same with me. Trying to build an speed set to farm old content, already farmed Time-Lost Battlefield Memento, now I’m afraid to try to get rank 2 if I can’t use anymore.
Is this intetional or just one more bug?

Same issue. Lvl80 neck, have cloak, and cannot use any of the essences. Checklist of everything I have done:
- Unequipped heart, re-equipped
- Made sure to be standing in the heart of the chamber and near the center
- Checked that all four essences I have in bags are rank 1
- Disabled all addons
- Cleared cache and WTF files
- Restarted WoW
- Restarted computer
- Tried a different computer
- Double checked that all the green triangles are clicked in the heart window to connect the essences
- Put in a ticket yesterday, no response yet
Nothing. I click on the essence and nothing happens. If WoW is taking away this part of the game, I will probably quit. I have so much fun doing this older content because I missed it the first time around. Why mess with this?

Seems to be broken on accident. The Blizz employee who whispered me in game tries several fixes to force it onto my list of learned essences but nothing worked. They’ve flagged the bug and recommend trying to learn it again after the next major patch.

Adding myself to the list - My Horde Undead Hunter L60 with HoA at 77. None of the Essences will activate/infuse/load up.
Essences: Charged Scale of the Blue Aspect, Overflowing Azerite geode, Titan Purification Protocols

This has happened before on previous Cata timewalk week. Sadly by the time my tickets get answered, timewalk week is over. So bug will never get fix.

Yup, same problem here. “Cooldown remaining: 1 Sec” flashes briefly when I right-click on the power and nothing happens.

Just received a response from Blizzard.
"Your ticket has received the following response:
Hey there! Game Master Kieulas here!
I’ve read your ticket about being unable to learn or upgrade Heart of Azeroth essences!
These are broken at the moment and cannot be learned/upgraded. There’s no workaround at this time, so for now you’ll need to keep the Essences in a shady spot in your bags and return to the Heart Forge to try again as the days go by. Game Masters cannot manually learn these essences for you.
