I’m not getting ANY Artifactium Sand to increase the ilvl of my artifact weapon. I have scrapped a lot of gear, done a bunch of quests and I’m now level 43 with an ilvl 35 artifact weapon. I’ve looking at my inventory, I have none there too. Moreover, I’ve never seen it pop up in my loot feed. I’m not sure what to do.

I could be wrong but I believe it gets tallied in your weapon window. Open your weapon’s window and it should be there.
That’s the infinite power thingy, I’m talking about the Artifactium Sand that increases the item level of your weapon.
just level up i hit 80 and my weapon is 588

I have as well, and I havent gotten a single Sand thing. Now im lvl 50 lol
I just hit level 80 yesterday, all of my armor is 550 or higher, but my weapon is still low 400s. The entire grind through the 70-80 range was a slog because I was hitting with a wet noodle. Drop rates for the sand feel really inconsistent
I read from a Reddit Thread that you need to do the quest for the artifact weapon for the spec you chose at the start. Have you done that?

I’m lvl 80 wearing all 584 ilvl gear with a 340 weapon. done whole quest zones/ raids / dungeons in heroic / I have obtained all my artifact weapons. Tier 2 with the dragon fella doing his infinite stuff. Artifact wep upgraded all the way to the last node(the stacking final one)… havnt seen a single sand in the hundreds of boxes I’ve opened and 100’s of items I’ve scrapped. Been hard stuck with a 340 artifact weapons and can’t progress my ilvl anymore do to this problem

Yeah it must be a bug of some sort. I’m level 80, 584 ilvl gear but with a 29ilvl wep. Took me awhile to realize that something wasn’t right lol

Same. Stuck at 315. getting no sand whatsoever
Sitting at 570 ilvl with 610 weapon…I feel like I got a majority of my sand hammering out dungeons/raids with my guild.

Yep. Having the same issue right now. Currently level 69. Most of my gear is around 320-345 ilvl. My artifact weapon is ilvl 62. I’ve gotten like one sand to level up the weapon or so. And it was in a dungeon. So I may have to do lots of dungeons just to get the stupid sand if they drop more frequently there
So I realized while leveling that the drop rates for those seems awful throughout the entire leveling experience.
I becomes most likely your top ilvl as soon as you hit 80
my new character is 73 and the weapon is ilvl 260 while my gear is 350+ I guess RNG on that character is awful… didnt had that issue on my first character
Leave it to Blizzard to screw up something so basic as weapon ilevel (damage) by RNG crap - just set weapon ilevel to the average gear (non-weapon) ilevel and be done with it.
So god awful playing this mode with a weapon that is 150 ilevels below gear / average player ilevel because the sand (upgrade item) is RNG (and like a lot of the mode itself, probably bugged).
My sand drops have been pacing my overall ilvl very closely so far.
I know there are not a lot of places in our bags for a stack of accumulating sand to hide, but I’d do a careful sanity check to sure?
I am level 35 and my weapon is level 10. I am hitting with a wet noodle at this point.
