i am trying to import a ui in edit mode, and when i import the code i am unable to type a name and unable to save it is there a solution

Actually, it is a technical support issue, because the original poster is saying that the UI import feature is BUGGED because you are unable to input a name for the imported UI string, and without giving it a name, the ‘import’ button is greyed out.
Might be an old import code from before the update. I remember beta and trying to fix my UI to retail and it not allowing me to use that import. So unless the import is from a 12.0 client, it likely would not work. UI and Macro could provider advise on that.
Which would make this a bug report, which goes in the bug report forum.
You’re confidently incorrect. This forum is for game client crashes and install issues, not problems importing a UI string. I agree with the above suggestion, it’s probably an old code or the wrong spec.
If you want to see if there’s a workaround or other people figured it out, Guides > UI and Macro is the place to have that discussion. If it’s actually a bug, report it in Support > Bug Report for QA.
