My friend and I chose Maldraxxus, did the whole questline, but skipped to open up Zereth Mortis. Somewhere in there we may have not skipped something we should, since we can’t ride in the Maw and Korthia and its quest isn’t available anywhere I can see.
Anyone have a clue on how we can skip past this at this point or pick up the questline to actually resolve this? We both have alts we’ve done the full thing on twice.
It’s possible to unlock Zereth Mortis without unlocking Korthia first. You have to check your quest log to see if it will tell you where you are in the Chains of Domination questline; you have to do the first few chapters (or do the skip) to get rid of the Eye of the Jailer and be able to mount in the Maw and also go to Korthia
Thank you! Normally my toons do all the skips since I’ve done each covenant twice or more, but my friend hasn’t, so we went the slow way which messed things up for me.
I just checked and we haven’t done the chapters at all and see no option to skip, so I guess we’ll go the hard way until we have the option to say been there done that.
Check in the quest hub in Oribos. The main Oribos npc in there might have the option even if there is no exclamation mark over her head.

Did that too. Just saw the regular daily and I think Rule #4 as options, unfortunately. But thank you for the suggestion.
Might be Bolvar. It’s definitely someone in oribos though.
I know if you skip everything at the start there, it’s one of them. Currently to those toons, Bolvar isn’t there, but we do have the attacking Ardenweald quest and there was no option to skip that (I’d have loved to skip that, at this point.)
Is Genn there with the lordaron quest? He might have both.
Those particular toons are horde, but Calia just has the lordaron quest.
check bolvar in oribos he might have a couple skips for you. think thats what happened on my alt.
Thank you. We didn’t do at least one of the skips intentionally and somehow that messed things up with regards to the Maw riding and Korthia. The last time I saw him in Oribos (he isn’t there at the moment for us) there was only the Ardenweald battle quest. It could be he had a skip, but I thought I had checked before accepting the quest, hoping it would allow the skip as some of the skip quests do.
Going to go to the Battle of Ardenweald tonight and see if that at least gives us an option, even if it’s the painful long way through.
The advice about the Chains of Domination is the winner. Did the Battle of Ardenweald, got back to Oribos and the skip to Korthia showed up from Bolivar. That was the piece we were missing. Thank you, everyone!
