Leveled to 50 using Chromie Time; doing so meant having to start the BFA chain, then after reaching Boralus with Jaina hearthing back to Stormwind.
After hitting 50 and getting the Heart from Magni,there was no portal back to Stormwind so I hearthed. I could take the boat or the portal to Boralus but it puts me in an instance of Boralus missing most of the NPCs because I never completed the intro quest. This means that while I can do world quests I have no way to get to Zuldazar because those NPCs don’t exist for me as they’re phased out.
Tried to find Anduin in the throne to see if i could pick that quest back up, and he’s not there. Tried to find Jaina in Boralus to see if I could pick up that questline there, and she’s not there. Not sure what the next step is at this point, it seems I glitched myself.
I would open a stuck on quest ticket a GM should hopefully be able to fix it.
The quest to go to Boralus seems to be broken or disabled (unless you’re going directly from the new starting experience) right now, and after seeing this post, issues like this are probably why.
Actually I have a feeling it was my Paladin I did the starter quest on – not my DK – so he hasn’t even done the intro chain yet and can’t pick it up because as you said, it’s not available. At least, not in the Shadowlands-phased version of Stormwind that we have access to at 50.
I put in a ticket but got a generic reply; hoping I can get an actual GM to look at it and maybe flag my character properly.
I read somewhere that the intro quest. At the harbor and the pyramid include a tour that shows you the portal room and opens up the portals.
You may be able to turn on low level quest tracking and still do the intro tour.
Hopefully you re-opened the ticket as there are no GMs on the forums. Here’s hoping that they are able to help out, but understand that sometimes GMs are not able to fix bugs as it could lead to larger issues down the line. As such, they are restricted by to what the Developers allow them to do.
