So there was the so called bug last week of people not getting into UD service entrance side. I commented how we stick to the right in Live side and find small opening and get into the UD side by way of The gauntlet’ So now today there is no getting into the Live side, not by the front gate nor the Service entrance. No matter what Strat entrance you take it takes you to UD service entrance side. I have looked all over but all gates are closed between UD and Live side once in UD part of the dungeon. How are we supposed to Farm Tmog on live side if the front gate keeps sending us to UD service entrance side?
Edit 2/3/23 Well got into UD side, got into Live side. Reset all dungeons and now only UD side and no getting into Live side to cash in my Quests. Honestly how hard is this to fix

The Festival Lane gate from live side to UD side was open last week. Are you saying they hotfixed that out?
No. I’m saying there is no way to get into live side. Not front entrance, service entrance or any “Cut thru” from UD to live. I cant run live side at all. All portal entrances take you to UD side.
But if you proceed from the live side entrance and make your way down the first road and keep to the right, you’ll find there’s an open gate that allows you to go into UD side, and everything in that side works as expected. (For instance, Magister Barthilas will still run and yell when you get through the open gateway.)
In other words, UD side is accessible without the Service Entrance portal.
It’s a workaround until the devs fix the Service Entrance.
Again, this was true last week when I last checked.
I found this last week and put it into forums about the side entrance. Im meaning I cant get into Live side not UD side. No portal entrance will take me to live side only into UD dead so I can yes go for the mount but Live side IM tmogging but no way to get into that side now as I step in from front entrance and portal completes and Im in UD side.
Well, that’s new. Everyone else has been complaining that they can’t get into (what used to be) Undead side (i.e., the Scourge side).
The portal is acting backwards for you and only taking you to the Scourge side? And the Elder’s Square/Festival Lane gate isn’t open to go over into the Scarlet side?
That’s completely different from my experience and everyone else that I know of who’s complained about this.
I know last week I had posted on here about it being the other way but that I had found the entry way from Festival lane over to Gauntlet. But now its the other way around and I have no clue why. I am on my hunter and now going to switch to another toon and see if that works,if it does Ill come back and put it here but I have my doubts that it would just be one toon.

I have been trying to find someone else with this problem. There is an Elder in the Live side of Stratholme and my friend needs it for the Purple Protodrake meta achievement and neither one of us can get into the Live/Main Gate entrance.
I have found everyone talking about not getting into Dead/Side gate, but now all 3 portals take you to Dead. They did do the hotfix,

- When zoning into Stratholme from the exterior world, players now have access to all of the dungeon’s bosses instead of the two-wing Looking For Dungeon counterparts."
They never made it reversible though so now the dead side is the only side you get into and you can’t get to live side from any of the 3 portals. Once inside dead, we did a full clear and none of the walls/gates that used to open pre-cata no longer open and they are still non-interactable.
I saw in another thread about this that if you set your instance to Heroic you can get to either side, I’m not sure how true that is or if it even works. It might be worth a try for now until we get an official fix.
I put in a bug report in-game detailing the issue, but I’m so happy someone else has seen this. I feel like I’ve been going crazy. Very frustrating, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Ty for responding as I was seriously starting to doubt my toons lol. I tried changing dungeon to heroic etc but it didnt work. Im going in now and hopefully its corrected so we can get into Live side. I forgot about the elder in there so wondering how many people cannot complete the event if they cant get to the elder
Its still broke. Live side entrance still takes me to UD side. I tried Normal dungeon & then heroic and in the dungeon it just resets to normal.
Since not a lot of people are talking about this on the forums, make sure you are putting in a ticket in-game as well.
Hopefully this gets some attention soon.
I had the same issue. I reset all instances, then i walked into the front. It finally gave me Live side.
It seems to have been fixed. I was able to get into live side tonight.

This is still broken for me.
It was fixed last year, with the prepatch it might have broken. Put in a ticket in game. They almost never read forums.
