I can’t get into a heroic dungeon queue as DPS on my shaman. If I switch to heals, I can get in. I just waited 25 minutes with a 5 minute average wait time and didn’t get in. I left the group, and my friend I was queued with got in instantly (as a dps) after I left the group.
This has been happening all day. Wait 5-10 times the average wait and can never find a group. Any fixes?
Yeah, queue time is actually over an hour as of a few hours ago… Seems like the reasonable queues are only for tanks/heals.
why does the queue instantly pop for the other dps in my group when i leave it?

Same issue but normal queues. Was leveling my monk, went from 70-77 and now queues are not popping at all. Also leveled my priest a couple hours prior and had zero issues. I’ve left and rejoined queue multiple times after it got to 5x-10x the average wait time. Swapped to my hunter queue popped within 3 minutes, Paladin - queue popped in less than 2. This isn’t a ‘DPS have long queues issue’, this is a ‘there’s something else going on’ issue.
edit: So I ended up doing a specific queue, just to see how terrible the XP was (it’s abysmal) but the group requeued after and after that one I solo queued and it seems to be fixed for me now.
The same thing happens to me. Average queue time says 5 minutes, and I end up waiting 30 before I just drop queue and try again. Happened yesterday and today.

Tried grouping with friends. When I dropped group queue popped immediately
My mage and warlock could not get queue to pop. I leveled from 79 to 80 gathering while waiting on the queue. Went to 45 minutes while average was 4 min wait, and no guildies had to wait over 5 minutes.
I’m having the same problem on my 78 warrior! No queue issues on my 80 mage, and was rolling with 5 min queues all day and, now boom 20+ minute queues.
Same here wondering if it might be server specific too. My warrior on Area 52 gets dps queues to pop within 3min for heroics but my mage on Stormrage takes 15+ min even the avg wait time starts out around 12min. (Both are alliance)
