I’m just a casual player and I’ve been denied every group I’ve applied to. I try for about 30 mins to an hr.
Its just mythic 0, everyone seems to want ilvl 450 to do anything mythic

Have you tried making your own group? Just put in that you’re casual and certainly someone will help out.
I am guessing you mean on the PTR? It is understandable, there are less people there and they want to test what is needed for when it goes live. It is after all ‘new’ content and we don’t yet know much about how the affixes will affect the place.
Its fine. You can do anything. There is no such things as people preventing you from doing unqueable content. 
Well thats what the common high mythic/raider wants you to believe.
As for the ilvl requirement its common thing to want people being higher ilevel then the loot table. There is nothing I can say about it then it really sucks.

Just run mythics until you get to ilvl 450. Problem solved.

Well, as much as it sucks supposedly in 8.3 they will be releasing Mechagon into 2 seperate heroic wings you can queue for in LFD.
All you need to do is kill King Mechagon to complete the achievement to unlock Mechagnomes.

Or just wait until 8.3 when they are making a heroic Q able version of Mechagon.

As soon as it’s queable as a heroic you will have no problem finding a group. There are alot of players waiting to complete the meta that way.
Frankly, it’s not ‘just m0’. The length of the dungeon itself means you’ll be there for well over an hour even if everything goes smoothly. And the fights are very mechanic-heavy. I wouldn’t get into a group of people I don’t know unless I’m sure they know the fights, or they out-gear it. Will get much easier in 8.3, and the fact that it’ll be split in two for m+ will make it much easier to pug.

That’s generally what happens as a dps in endgame content. Just have to keep trying.
Edit: after looking at your character (I assume this hunter is what you’re trying to get in with) your ilvl would be close to, if not entirely, a hard carry. You can easily hit 415+ with emissary, warfront, against overwhelming odds, and weekly event gear rewards. Anything over 400 or 405 would make you look a lot better to group leaders, but as close to 415 as you can get will help greatly.
I mean…it’s true. In legion the most I did was legacy farming, low m+ near the end, mount farming, and mage tower. In bfa I’ve got AotC in every tier and have got keystone conquerer in season 2 and 3. The only difference between the two expacs are my goals to complete the content and me doing what I need to do to meet those goals.
