Cant get battlenet setup to download

could not get in game tried to repair tried changing firewall so i uninstalled all battlenet and wow off my computer now battlenet only gets to 5% download and stalls I cant get into tech support or any of the supports only my account and this forum can not find a phone number to cal for help lost

There are no numbers, support does not have them, and does not provide direct technical support, except maybe some self service advice columns. Any error codes?

Could be a poor connection between your ISP and Blizzard, did you try a VPN and see if that helps download?

And did you download the app launcher from the download site, not from a old install cd/dvd.

Having the exact same issues…tried everything. Still no luck. Been having these issues on and off for a few weeks adn getting ridiculous how many times I have to uninstall completely and do fresh install. Tiresome and time consuming too…wasting money sitting here every month not being able to play

Im having the same issue. I cant log into wow so i deleted battle.net and all my wow folders to try a fresh download and now i cant even download battle.net its stuck at 5%. I tried downloading from the link on the wow website so its not that. I also cant even submit a ticket its not letting me even pull up that page. How am i even supposed to get in touch with blizzard if nothing on their end works? I tried restarting computer, deleting cookies, turned all my firewalls off and still cant do anything that has to do with blizzard or wow.

Found out its a blizzard issue they have to fix. Called my ISP and they have a open ticket with blizzard right now and this is happening across the US from multiple ISPs. Wish blizzard would let people know instead of leaving them in the dark. What a trash customer service they have.

Blizzard does not provide direct technical support, but does monitor for issues, and provides some self help articles. If you were having issues using the support pages yesterday, those were discussed and acknowledged on the Customer Support subforum.

Should think those have cleared up though, I have not seen newer posts on actually using the support system.;

Not sure what the issue is they are investigating, maybe a few ISP’s are having this issue? They say specifically what issue it was? I know there was routing issues with connections, when Blizzard changed some routing tables due to DDoS attacks, and since there was a fresh attack sometime around midnight, those changes might be ongoing.

If it was every ISP, and no one could connect or patch, then that might be acknowledged. If you having more information to add though, I would suggest a bug report. Which ISP, from where are you connecting. I ping or looking glass review would be nice, but those tools just are not available.

They said they have a open ticket with blizzard right now trying to get it fixed whatever it is. They are saying blizzard changed somethings from their DDoS attacks they been having and its messed up alot of different ISPs connection to blizzard. This is something blizzard should of made a post about but decided to leave everyone in the dark instead? Il try and see if i can even make a support ticket. Last time i tried to load up support page it didnt work at all so i had to download a VPN to even get it to load but still didnt see a way to make a ticket like its been removed.

There usually is if it effects the entire service like a ddos, and there was a reply on customer support a few weeks ago they were aware, but the majority of providers had adapted to the port changes, so your connection issue might not be related.

Unfortunately blizzard posts aren’t guaranteed.
