On my evoker, I’ve tried several of the Amber Ledge quests as well as quests inside The Nexus dungeon, and none of these are rewarding any rep with the Kirin Tor. In fact, the Kirin Tor don’t even show up on my reputation sheet. I have not tried this with other classes, so I’m not sure if it’s a bug with the faction itself, or something evoker specific.

Same here. Can’t seem to gain any reputation with the Kirin Tor as an Evoker.

To check on this, I sent my evoker to Northrend and did the usual things one does to farm Kirin Tor reputation and saw nothing, not even a Kirin Tor listing on the evoker’s reputation tab.
Having seen that, I saw that Kirin Tor as one of the Emissaries up in Legion, so I got my evoker to Legion. Going in, I was curious to see how a class with out an order hall would work. To my surprise, the evoker class order hall (such as it is) is the main tower of the Kirin Tor. Even though I have no indication of Kirin Tor reputation, Kalec and Khadgar both display as friendly while all others display as neutral.
This is most confusing. I had a bunch or rep tokens for Legion factions, so I popped them off on my evoker and they worked as usual. I haven’t tried with the WoD Medallion of the Legion because I didn’t have any, but running around Draenor and bumping into factions seems to indicate those all work fine. Classic reputations for Horde seem to all work as usual, but I don’t want to try with every other old reputation to see if there are others not working, but I would not be surprised if there are.

Saw this in the patch notes for today’s hotfix:
Reputation
- Fixed an issue where Evokers could not gain reputation with certain legacy factions.
I just tried turning in one of the Coldarra quests that gives Kirin Tor rep, and it’s still broken. Kirin Tor is not even listed under my reputation tab.

Having made a pretty thorough sweep of still available factions with gainable reputations in classic, BC, WotLK, Cata and WoD, the only reputation I can find that still doesn’t work for evokers is Kirin Tor. Which is beyond ironic as the Violet Citadel, a.k.a Kirin Tor central, is the Legion class order hall for evokers.
I have done every Kirin Tor WQ in Legion and Northrend that I could trying to find one that might turn the key, but it was a giant wall of nope. If this is by design, it truly baffles me, as this puts first time players coming into the game choosing to level only an evoker at a disadvantage. Quiet a few achievements are linked in some way to Kirin Tor reputation.
I have yet to see a plain language “not gonna” or “we’re working on it” from anyone at Blizzard. Have I missed something?
Yeah, it’s still broken for me. I’ve had a ticket in about it for over a week now with no response. I’ve heard it can be up to a month before they get back to you these days, but at this point I’m out of ideas.
Still can’t access Kirin Tor. Wondering if this is just gonna be permanent at this point.
Kirin Tor rep for Evokers is still bugged. No gain from quests, dungeons, or from interacting with NPCs. Faction does not show in reputation panel.
This is probably related, but Ebon Blade rep is also bugged
