Can't find WOW MT DEW PROMO items in store

The promotion will be around until january. Scalpers aren’t buying up anything. Thats a stuipd ridiculous statement because any bottle of Mtn Dew that has an Xbox logo on it gives points. It isn’t just WoW branded stuff. I bought 6 purple thunder 20oz bottles and that had the xbox logo and got 1200 points redeemed the points for a mount for myself and for a guildie that lives overseas. I talked to a distributor at a local Walmart as he put 6 cases of the Cherry Citrus and Blackberry Citrus on the shelf. He said gas stations will get the 20oz bottles first, then grocery stores, then places like Walmart. The product will hit shelves as retailers become authorized to sell on an individual store basis based on their turnover and shelf-space. Pepsi won’t pull overstock off shelves so stuff you see instore now has to sell before this product is stocked. So if you aren’t seeing it, its a lot more likely your store simply hasn’t gotten their shipment yet due to slow turnover. Its the same thing with Doritos. I found a ton of the 2.75 oz bags of nacho and cool ranch but no bigger bags yet because the normal bagged product is still filling the shelves.

I cannot seriously believe that people thought the day the promo went live the stores would be overstocked with a new product, or promo branded products. That is not the way retail distribution works. By next week there will be cases, 20oz bottles, energy drinks and bags of chips everywhere. I’m fairly sure Pepsi didn’t partner with Microsoft and then only plan on shipping a limited number of cases for the next 3 months.

I checked walmart, shop rite and some convenient stores, they had non, but i did find an Arizona Fallout green tea energy drink lol

They never even made it in to my areas. Only single bottles. Everything else was gone from the warehouses.

A pallet holds 120 12pk cases. A 12pk can be anywhere from $5 to $10. Lets take it at $8. Thats $960 before sales tax, so probably closer to $1000. That comes out to 120,000 points for a pallet, which is 2000 mounts. The codes are listed on ebay for anywhere from $6 to $50 with a lot more on the low end. Thats a huge investment to try and turn over for a mass-produced item that is going to be in stores for 3+ months. And if they purchased a pallet it is bought through the distributor not the retailer because no retail chain puts 120 cases on the shelf at one time, especially when they sell other products. So again, you realize who ridiculous you sound?

That’s nice but I ain’t reading all that nor am I engaging with whatever weird obsession made you type it.

Oh, i gotcha, youre one of “those” who can’t stand to be proven wrong. Gotcha.

I love how basic math is somehow a weird obsession too.

I just really don’t care enough about this subject to bother.

I’ve had better luck at 7-11s.

The grocery stores are probably still burning through old stock and haven’t gotten the new stuff out yet.

Buying the code with real money doesn’t violate the TOS. This is why people are able to sell the WoW TCG loot cards. Because you’re using money to purchase a real life code.

But it’s also not supported, Blizzard won’t help you if you get scammed. So be careful with buying the code online.

I have a code if needed. Pm me.

I did the weekly shopping today at my local Wal-Mart, and they didn’t have much.

The only soda on the deal that they had was the normal 24 can case, and they only had three of those left. The guy stocking the aisle said that store never got any of the two new gamer fuel flavors that are 1000 points for a 12 can pack, and he had no idea if they would ever get any of that.

I did find the Doritos on the promotion, but they are the smaller bags by the checkout stands. Those only get you 100 points per bag, and the cost is $2/bag.

So the pets that cost 400 points would cost $8 each, and the mount at 600 points would cost $12. But I normally buy the big bags of Doritos on sale for $2.99/bag, so those chips are a lot more expensive and those smaller ones never go on sale.

Since I wanted to get both pets and the mount, for 1400 points, it’d cost me $28, so I decided to take a pass on that.

/moo :cow:

bro patiently explained and the reply below is literally ‘‘I don’t care’’ cant take this forum seriously, I wonder what many of these thousands of posts are made of

They need their daily quota of contrarian posting but can’t stand when done to them. Typical deflecting so many do here.

I ended up ordering two 12-packs of the cherry whatever it is flavor from Walmart online. Yeah, I paid shipping, but I didn’t have to run around town looking for it. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Suggest stalking the walmart .com website, because when I ordered, there were only 7 left, and shortly after, there were none, but they might restock!

ETA: I see the Citrus Cherry 12-packs available at Walmart .com right now actually.

I just looked at Walmart online. I didn’t see World of Warcraft Citrus Cherry or any other Mt Dew flavor for TWW. There was one for XBOX Halo. Double check…

It might depend on region, idk. I just did a search for Mountain Dew Game Fuel, and it came up, along with the blackberry flavor, but that one’s out of stock.

Yeah… That one is for XBOX Halo. Read the box. And there was other boxes that say Diablo…

Well… I hope I got what I saw when I ordered it then, because it wasn’t for Halo. It was for WoW. If it’s not right, I’ll just take it back to my local store.
