My wow time ran out in November and I just came back for love is in the air mount farm. Before my time ran out I thought Blizzard said they were adding a covenant campaign skip. Which having done the campaign already on 18 characters was a HUGE relief because I missed a few classes for covenant weapon cosmetics as they are tied behind the covenant campaign achievement.
I did find I could now get my soulbinds on alts without having to do the quests. That was great and very alt friendly but still missing the alt friendly campaign skip and cant seem to find it anywhere.
Or did they in the very least make the achievement account wide so that you dont need the campaign to purchase the cosmetics?
There isn’t a campaign skip.
The only skip is to get all the soulbinds but if you’re switching mains you still have to do the campaign on the toon.
I swapped my main to hunter and currently Dredging through the Venthyr campaign again.
The campaign skip that had originally been mentioned was cut from the patch.
Instead, there’s a renown jump-to-level-40 skip and, at level 60, a skip that allows you to unlock all conduits on a character and upgrade them to level 200.
Because Blizzard is dumb.

Nope, there’s no campaign skip.
You can skip straight to the soulbinds on alts. Then they send you to Bolvar who makes you rescue Baine again, then unlock the Runecarver. After that, if you’ve gone to Korthia once on a character, your alts can skip the intro and go straight to Korthia.
BUT… you cannot unlock the two extra dailies or grapple points or get the transmog dailies unless you free the Primus. Which you cannot do until all of the 9.0 campaign is completely done, even though you’ve already completed three chapters of the 9.1 campaign.

When will Blizzard learn? Make WoW fun again 
I did the korthia skip on all my alts but they are all sitting with knowledge I cant do anything with because I need to do a quest chain, the transmog dailies unavailable because i have to do more campaign over again. Luckily I managed to get all those cosmetics before my time ran out. Though they fixed the reward chance right after i got 6 venthyr eligible to get the dailies. I want to love this game again but blizz makes it so damn hard.
Honestly I cant see wow getting good again unless they send everyone to a mental deprogramming camp and get them outside of this tedious grindy game design box they seem to think we like. wow isnt failing because its an old game its because no one likes the way they are designing it and they keep doubling down on the bad parts because their metrics say most players are doing it which is engagement… Were doing it because we HAVE to not because we want to. Theres 0 enjoyment to be had from this design. It doesnt even feel good unlocking these cosmetics just a sigh of relief… Then a year later when you finally dont have to do world quests any more. a year of nothing but gold out of those boxes… oh hey we added new collectibles and finally greatful offerings which should have been there in the 1st place… go do world quests again

You don’t need the campaign done on every character. Just do it once per covenant on your account (and get to renown 80 for said covenant on that character), and you’ll be fine.
Covenant campaign remains unfinished cause you don’t need it and allows people who like questing to easily get renown progression after they hit 60 (which you can get renown 48 per covenant with threads leveling). And then like renown 51-52 after unlocking the three soulbinds.
You do if you want all the armor sets. 4 for each armor type in each Covenant means 16 characters that have to go through the story over and over again.

And do you think blizz is gonna give up the goose willingly for cosmetics?
They get enough valid pushback for withholding player power progression. They’ll say cosmetics are entirely optional and close the complaint.
And anyone worth their salt would only need 4 characters for that a clothie/dh/hunter/warrior for all 4 covenants to get everything. No need for 16 characters, just 4.
There isn’t a skip, you still need to play the game to earn the rewards.
You’ve never been able to leave, then return, to have rep rewards handed to you without playing the game.
You do if you want the 9.0 armor sets for transmog or the rest of the Korthia dailies and grapple points unlocked.
