I can’t find the questgiver(s) for the quest: “A Desperate Alliance.” When I look at the Questie map, I see there is a “Human Commoner” in Stormwind who is supposed to give me this quest. Unfortunately, he is impossible to find. Also, in Ironforge, there is supposed to be a “Dwarf Commoner” and a “Gnome Commoner” who give the quest as well. They too, are impossible to find. Can someone tell me why it’s impossible to find the questgiver who starts the quest: “A Desperate Alliance?” I have 2 level 70 humans, which were level 70 before the prepatch. I also have the most up to date version of Questie. Please help me find the questgiver for this quest!!! Thanks.

Can Blizzard please fix this already. The commoners spawn for a few seconds and then despawn randomly. They don’t offer the quests they are supposed to.

Yeah, I literally had one despawn in front of me in Ironforge as I was clicking on it.

It was occurring (I play Horde) where they would offer the quest but phase out/disappear but it hasn’t happened today that I’ve seen for multiple characters I play. There was an update earlier but I don’t see hotfix notes. Possible it was for that purpose?
wow…people are relaying so much on add-ons that they can’t even play the game if the addons doesn’t show “where to go” “what to do” “when to move” “which to evade” kek.
it seems that no one play for enjoyment anymore, everyone just want to get things done asap.
I wrote the addon. I know where the quest giver is. They aren’t there or they’re bugged.
For me, it’s not about what you described. I want to experience the full and proper game, including being able to do quests that are in the game. You think that’s asking a lot?!
The quest givers are bugged during a limited time event. Yes, we want to get it done asap otherwise it never will get done.
This event has been the most bug filled one thus far. The original Scourge Invasion was sorta buggy near the end of it when they only chose to respawn the quartermaster and they screwed my hunter out of finishing its set. Now they’re gonna sit on their hands while these NPCs bug out, yet again preventing my account from having 100% completion.
You guys need a completionist on the team. It’s sad when things like this go unfixed for so long.

Excellent points made. I assume nothing will be done and we won’t be able to access this quest. BTW, does anyone know if you get a benefit killing the new invasion bosses in low level dungeons like RFK, Scholo, etc?
They drop future removed from game transmog pieces (RWP), ATT-Classic has a full list for those that want to collect them all.
So it looks like someone hotfixed the quest givers in, but they aren’t offering their desperation quests. Please fix this part, too. Thanks!

Some of my characters can get the quest, some cannot. On the ones that cannot, when I do this thing to check if they’ve done it, it says they have not.

Hopefully they fix this with the server restart.
You should know better there is a bug report forum which you should be posting this kind of information then, right?
