Can't find mog for Ashbringer

So I’ve deleted most of my characters on an account I don’t use any more. First I transfered their stuff/money. I still have a couple characters like this one he just doesn’t have much left. I was looking at mogging just for the heck of it and I noticed there is no option to transmog back to Ashbringer if I mog it to something else. Luckily I noticed before I mogged it first. I checked all the boxes under options so everything is showing but I noticed there is no option for “artifacts” to select. What am I missing? Have they removed that option? Or is it a bug on my account?

That’s because the character has the artifact currently equipped. You can remove the transmog and it’ll show the Ashbringer on the character. Alternatively, if you equip a non-artifact weapon on your paladin, you’ll be able to transmog the artifact onto the weapon using the Artifacts tab.

Cool. Thanks! How do you remove a transmog without making a new one? So it “clears” any mog it currently has?
Also what is the level requirement to use the Ashbringer mod on another character? And is it an alliance only mog?

I believe you right-click on the mogged slot on the left to remove the mog it has. From there, you can save the set.

Level requirement is 98, and you must be a ret paladin to use Ashbringer’s mog. Artifact mogs are spec-specific and rely on which appearances of the artifact you’ve acquired.

Thank you very much for your help. It’s all working just like you said. Imagine that, do it the right way and it works? Who’d a thought. Lol.
