Can't even be bothered to give a 1 week warning?

How hard is it to make a blue post warning regarding the end of the season? The lack of effort or care in regards to pvp is really on another level.

They announced the end of the season weeks ago

is it over now? Did we win??

Something in game wouldn’t be so bad. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people ask when the server ends.

Agreed, I don’t know why they don’t just add it to the in game calendar

They could also give an ingame warning as well and a 1-2 week warning. It really shouldn’t be that difficult…but we know that’s asking a lot for pvp.

I agree, I think it says on the launcher though which is a pretty common way to notify players

PvP 100% needs more in game communication.

Season starts and ends should be on the calendar basically always. I also think current Rank 1 title rating requirement should be displayed in game (Maybe it is, but only if you’re a high enough ranking for it to matter?)

Either way. Would be great.

Maybe they’ll get to it after they finish developing the first batch of player housing furniture for you to buy from the in-game store.

I mean, the information is on the launcher and official site and a million other places, but it also should have an in-game notice as well IMO.

Also, while we’re at it, where is the trading post preview for august?!

They gave us like a one month warning

And for months prior the end of patch date was roughly speculated down to within a week or two

It’s a very important deadline to keep track of if you’re interested in titles, getting transmog etc. They’ve previously set a precedent of announcing the 1-2 week warning. 1 month is fine, but if you missed that announcement, or forgot about it you might miss out. I don’t see what’s so hard about consistently announcing the 1-2 week warning every single season. To me, it just demonstrates complete lack of organization, preparation, and a cohesive plan in regards to how pvp is handled.

I mean, all the evidence has pointed to pvp being an absolute last thought for blizzard for a long time, so I know this isn’t a shocker for anyone but still…

PVE is treated the same way dawg

oh alright then that makes it ok!

It is okay, though. :dracthyr_shrug:

But it isn’t.

If 8 of notice isn’t enough then I’m not sure what is.

Ah yes, Kennie . . . the heroic defender of Blizzard’s bare-minimum effort. Must be exhausting carrying that smug indifference around like a badge of honor. Players asking for consistent in-game communication about season deadlines, something that literally takes five minutes to implement, apparently need to cope, while you flex your forum swagger like you’re farming forum honor. We get it, man. You’re too cool to care. You think apathy is intellectual. But some of us actually expect standards higher than a post-it note on the fridge. Especially those of us that have a life outside of spending all day trolling the forums.
