What am I missing, I am trying to farm my second TF binding but I can’t enter Molten Core?
I tried lava teleport method and it said
“You cannot enter this instance while participating in a Timewalking Campaign”. OK?
I haven’t played this character in years so I have zero clue what that’s supposed to mean.
Are you using chromie time?

How can I tell? Or disable?
I mean you would’ve had to activate it in Orgrimmar. So I feel like you would know if you were in it or not.
Go to Chromie in Org. Hourglass on the map. Turn off timewalking.

As I said, haven’t played this toon in YEARS. Incredibly dumb to not indicate I’m using some alternate time crap, if it’s going to block me from doing basic instances.

Totally this…what the hell is going on? Half our guild can hop right in…the others get the fabric of which our world is woven. There no chromie business. All mobs scale to level or max out at 30…the region cap.
There is NO clear indication of WTF.
We havent been active since 2017.
What are we missing?
All characters who HAVE done MC before. Trying different chromie times make no difference. Level seems to make no difference. Some 40’s can go in, some cant. Some 30’s can some cant.
Is there a gear score requirement maybe? are you wearing green garbage perhaps?
There is no gear requirement.
That defeats the purpose of running to collect gear, doesnt it?

Ah yes molten core. IN classic you had to do the " attuned to the core" quest first, that I think you got from an elf standing by the door to BRD, If my memory serves me correctly. I am not sure if retail requires it as well. Its been ages since i did it.
No attunement needed in retail.
Minimum level required to enter Legacy raids:
Classic: 30
BC: 30
WotLK: 30
Cata: 35
MoP: 35
WoD: 40
Legion: 45
BfA: 50
Characters in Chromie time cannot enter raids. To see if you are in Chromie time, open the group finder and look to see what expansion’s dungeons you are being offered. If it says BfA, you are not in Chromie time. Any other expansion listed means you need to talk to Chromie to come back to the present.
