The dungeon portal doesn’t show at the entrance. I looked it up a bit and apparently I have to complete a questline?? Please Blizz, I’m not doing old world content just so I can enter a dungeon you have on mythic rotation. Why is this even a thing??

This is also happening to me. No portal, the rest of my group can’t see me. It says I am in a different phase for them.
So I was able to fix this by going to Azshara and following the questline starting with the quest “Twilight Skies” (takes about 20 minutes) This questline ends up taking you back to org to talk to Saurfang, after which the twilight highlands was in the correct phase. Hope this helps anyone else who encounters this issue.

This definitely worked! I was trying to find the quest that would take you to Arathi Highlands, thought it was Machines of War quest, this was definitely the right way to do it.

What Obadyahu mentioned fixes the phasing issue. ITs basically part of the Cataclysm intro quest that takes you to Twilight Highlands.
I even reported this with an in-game ticket but was given an automated reply within the hour. It was just a link to their FAQ page.

Had the same issue for siege today. Pretty sure there were a few in our group who did not do the intro quests. Two of us could zone in, 3 couldn’t, they just walked through the portal.
FIXED : by flying there on a different character that had done the zone (i think )
Was going from dungeon to dungeon at a good pace then hit Grim Batol, had to waste the group’s time and ended up just letting them replace me and not finishing the tour when I found out I had to do the quest chain.

Amazing how none of this was caught during beta.
I even sent in a ticket report about the bug and within an hour was replied with an automated message that told me my answer would be in their FAQ page.

Wait! You mean to tell me that there are people who haven’t done the intro quests for Twilight Highlands?!?!?! OMG! How could this happen? How could we have not known this would be an issue? Where’s our QA team? Oh, they’re THOSE hires, gotcha.

You don’t get it. It’s based on character, not account. You even see the “a warband character has already completed this quest”
I know, I did 'em when they were current.
