Title, keeps saying ‘missing reagent’ to the person who’s gear Im trying to enchant despite having them in my bag. Bug or feature?

Just to add more info, I open trade with my partner, they put their ring in the will not be traded slot, the enchant is showing up, but when we trade it says to them only that they are missing regeants…?

I’ve even traded my friend the exact reagents needed for me to make the enchant, while also having enough for the enchant in my own bags. We both had enough Storm Dust in our bags, and still I couldn’t enchant his piece of gear, the same Missing Reagent error showed up on his end.
Anyone find an answer to this one, I can’t figure out why the person getting the enchant is getting the missing reagent error message.

Still active bug, friend tried to enchant my ring today and couldn’t with the Missing Reagent error.

The game will report “missing reagent” when you don’t have a cooking fire or forge etc and try to do a recipe that requires those. I am curious whether the bug still happens if you take your enchanting rod out of your enchanter book and just have it in your inventory. It may be that it can’t be “seen” from the trade window atm when it is equipped in the book.
It’s really weird that it’s showing “Missing Reagent” on the recipient’s window, not on the caster’s side. I was thinking maybe they are testing a feature where you can get reagents from the target’s side, and some code got left behind that also breaks the regular path.
Alt, yeah, maybe the recipient side is actually the one doing the apply-enchant call, and it’s looking at the caster side for, say, the rod, and is the not seeing.

Even if the recipient has all the required reagents and has a rod with enchanting as a skill so they can equip it, the enchant still fails.

This is still happening. Tried to enchant a guild-mate’s ring. “Missing reagent” over and over again.
