Mhm, I did that before I even posted and figured. My confusion was reference the beta client remaining but, in the end it doesn’t really matter.
Notice how the beta no longer says “& Stress Test”. The option remains so that you can uninstall it.
Yeah, it looks like they just separated the stress test from the beta client.
They are also separate installs now too. It’s probably a better way to handle it rather than have them combined since they are doing a stress test on the scale of a whole region.
I think it’s funny that there is still a Blizzcon Demo server in the list, lol.

The stress test is being run on the (eventually) Live client. That’s why they’re separated. If you want to pre-download the game, now’s your chance.
This is worth repeating. The horde of downloads is approaching.
Well… obviously, since it’s categorized under the Live tab. They will just update it from here. But it’s also good timing because separating the clients when you are about to do a massive stress test is a good idea.

My classic client has completed and installed, I was able to load it up without BFA installed. It’s a bonus to free up space since you no longer need BFA.
Edit - to be 100% I will need to wait to the test is up, at this stage it looks that way at least.
Ahhhh… haha, crashed the PC. Had BfA running on one monitor and launched the classic client on the other and BOOM. Guess I should file a bug report.
Just practicing for the stress test. Have to karma-ize the first few crashes.

- Have you selected World of Warcraft Classic in the first dropdown, NOT Beta: World of Warcraft Classic. (You should see a 2nd dropdown.

Thank you for the quick response I haven’t played since December and there was one more launcher update I needed.
Yeah, it literally came out an hour or so ago.
The download is up for me now, you should have it right above the “PLAY” button
i still don’t see classic wow option above the play button. Any suggestions?
Try setting your bnet laucher to the it’s beta version. It worked for me!
It’s not showing up for me, either. Checked client for updates and it says up to date… Doing a scan/repair now to see if something is wrong. Anyone else that’s having trouble get it figured out yet?

Scan and repair didn’t fix anything. It’s still not showing up. Do I need to download PTR to have it show up? Surely not but who knows?
