Trying to get “Between Arak and a hard place” done but can’t. I didn’t know you had to pick the brewery and got the smugglers instead. Now I can’t change the venue cause I can’t get the the Achev. Can’t start “Securing Southport” because I can’t change…
Lt Williem doesn’t give me an option…
So, what am I to do? And I found out i can’t do it because I went and did a long search on WOWhead.
Why is the gameplay loop broken and why can I not finish or get the next quest “Not Here, Not Now”?
According to a recent reddit comment on a very old thread, you need to go visit Dusk-Seer Irizzar to pick up the quest Not Here, Not Now. Try going there and see if he has something for you.
Thank you friend, the quest is not there and even though my open ticket said i’m trying to get the Achev, the GM said “Oh so you are trying to get the keg”. No. I’m trying to get a NPC to show up so I can get a mini pet I want…
I am assuming you are doing this on a max level character, do you have low level quest tracking turned on? It’s off by default.
Do you have any quests available in the zone?
Would you be able to post the name-realm of the character you are doing this on, I can take a peak at the quest history and see if something stands out.
The first comment on Wowhead has a very thorough break down of the quest chain you need to complete to get the achievement : LINK
The quest chain is very rigid, missing any step locks you out of subsequent chapters.
So, as Jeysca says above, make sure you have warband completed and low level quests set to display in the mini-map/map.
Thank you all. It took getting a hold of a GM and the GM pointing to one post on one page in the tangled web of WoWhead to get it done. This was mess. This could have been great gameplay at the time but damn.
