it wasn’t the pre patch, you could pick the starting quest just fine since Thursday. it was the hotfix they put Friday night that messed it up on the alliance side

I had this issue with my new mage, all I did was get the flight whistle and then Greymane had “Tides Of War” quest for me

flight whistle u need to have wqs unlocked right so i ques u unlocked the wqs on lvl 50 after your necklace and than he had tides of war? man its rlly messed up atm hopefully they have the fix ready soon now

hmm im gonna try that out as soon as i reach lvl 50 but thats deff not how it should work i can also confirm that most of the player did noteven get it after that, even tho they are working on a fix still thnx alot for sharing this mate im gonna give it a try myself now!
well sir u lucky i tried it on 4 lvls 50s now got the neck unlocked world quests and on non of the 4 greymane had the quest for me lol

Made a void elf and cannot access bfa starting quest. Cannot find intro quest anywhere.

looks like that no matter what we are just stuck in pandaria timeline because when i talk to chromie and click on bring me back to the current timeline wich should be bfa timeline it still shows me The King’s Command quest wich is pandaria in Stormwind Keep.
Apparently, if a character doesn’t go through exile’s reach, they also can’t get in. Was just talking to someone in trade chat about it.
i was hoping they would just try a server restart or anything its for 2 days now not being able to play the game i level 7 characters to 50 just cause i cant do anything else i gotthe neck and wqs unlocked on all and now i just cantplay the game anymore, i can fly arround in old expansion picking my nose or maybe do a couple world quests and thats its just eating my game time away with not being able to play the game apart from old content starts to annoy me now a little.
yep u need to do exile’s reach and dont skip the tour thats the only way indeed

they just need to do something now i mean few hours fine but 2 days of an entire
current expansion being locked is mad they cant let us just fly around in old content with max lvl characters until a maintenance or they just give me and other poeple the days of gametime lost back, i know people will say im crying now wich i probably am but this is getting silly now also since we can only report bugs on us forum since eu doesnt have a bug report forum somehow i hope they are aware this is also happening on eu and not only us, so we dont end up it only being fixed on us but still broke on eu

It also looks like its fixed here, I can start the tides of war questline in Ironforge by the auction house, then it lets me talk to anduin in the left room in stormwind keep, then i talk to jaina, skip the prison break introduction, do the first few introduction quests where you talk to everyone, and once you get the come sail away achievement, I was able to talk to genn to start nazjatar.

problem OP describes of having no follow up quest after obtaining the heart of azeroth once level 50 and thusly not being able to continue BFA content (neck, cloak, etc.) is still in game
magni just didnt have another quest after I did the infusion.
