Can someone help me out here? I’ve went into Game Menu - Interface - Display, and UN-checked “Automatic Quest Tracking” but for some reason, when I accept a new quest, it still pops up on the right side of the screen in the yellow tracking text dropdown. I’ve disabled all my addons and the game still does it when accepting a new quest. Is there a way to completely disable this with a command? I have questie and occasionally use zygor when I get lost and dont want my screen cluttered up with anything else. I’ve only had this issue since this latest latest patch. Like I said, I disabled everything and its like the game doesn’t recognize the automatic quest tracking option in the settings and just defaults to the tracking being left on.
EDIT/UPDATE:
Disregard, I found the issue. Apparently the issue had to do with my using of Zygor Guides new feature (which is listed in the settings of that addon as BETA but was automatically turned on because I’ve never seen it before) which over-rides the “Automatic Quest Tracking” option in your wow settings. Even if you have that option UN-checked (like I do), Zygor “[BETA] Use quest chains” option will STILL toggle your Automatic Quest Tracking on.
If anyone has this issue, reach out, its an easy fix. The issue won’t completely resolve with a simple /reload. You have to set the options, then manually logout to desktop and relog in. Its a PITA and took a few hours of checking and unchecking options till I found the problem.
