I run Onyxia every now and then for the mount. I have the Enlarged Onyxia Hide Backpack already in use on my character. I ran the raid again tonight and got the bag as usual, but of course couldn't pick it up.
When I hearthed back to Dalaran I had a letter from the Postmaster for a missing item. It contained the backpack.
I cannot take the item from mail because I already own it, but whenever I try to delete the mail either through the mail UI or the Delete button on the open mail, it just says "You can't delete that." I don't really want it to sit in my mail for a full 30 days.

Same issue here..... I don't understand the reason for a delete mail option if you can't delete the item inside it as well...
This has been a problem during at least the last 2 expansions.
I am having this same issue. It's never been one until this latest patch, though. I don't need another bag, but it has never been sent to my mailbox each time I leave the raid. Until now.

Same problem. That mail icon bugs the hell out of me. All i could think to do to delete it is, I deleted the Enlarged Onyxia Hide Backpack that i currently had in my inventory and accept the mail for the new one. Have had to do this for 3 weeks now
Same issue, the items flagged to be sent to the mailbox if unlooted needs to be fixed. I also have had quest items like Onyxia's Head and a Verdant Sphere sent, along with netherweave cloth from killing Attumen in Karazhan.
Please fix this already.....

Still a problem. After a bunch of Strat runs for that #*&&$#*$# mount, I had to spend 15 minutes dealing with the stupid keys and eyes.

Personally, I wouldn't want to use a 22 slot bag when there are 30, 32 and 34 slot bags available in the game, but I understand some people like to keep this bag out of a sense of nostalgia.
The solution is simple. Vendor your original Enlarged Onyxia Hide Backpack before you do your next Onyxia farm. Equip the new one (or the one sitting in your mailbox) when you are finished.

Transferring realms today. I couldnt because of the 43345 ony bags in my mail box.
Quick fix:
Delete your bag thats probably in your bank. Get one from the mail box, delete it too. Keep deleting once you loot it.
Youll get a new ony bag next week if you really want it.
