Can't delete level 1 characters because they "have mail"

Literally where the heck is the first mailbox. I find this outrageous that this wow “celebration mail” is spammed to characters that literally haven’t even left exiles reach boat.

I have less than no desire to level 3 characters through exiles reach just to delete them with a mailbox in orgrimmar. This is ridiculous. I was looking at customization options IN GAME with varying light.

I’m trying but I keep being told I have mail on these level 1 characters that haven’t evne left the boat ><

I tried Katy’s Stampwhistle on noob island but said it wasn’t available during the tutorial. Have they since fixed it from 2 days ago?

Edit: might be fleet commander’s hat or something I forget. in game ticket to GM might help you out. I don’t know if friend warlock could summon you out.

rofl… too bad they weren’t started in northshire abbey or somewhere like that.

Seems to me draenei and some other races had a mailbox in starter zone, so might be okay to put a mailbox on exile’s reach. Even without a mailbox, you can load up on looms and use your loomcycle, so doubt mailbox will spoil anything.

this is an issue ive experienced with past anniversaries, once you load into the game on a new character you get the mail and cant delete it until you get access to a mailbox

so if you started on exiles reach you have to do the whole thing and from what i hear katys stampwhistle doesnt work there

Mailbox toys like Katy’s Stampwhistle don’t work.

This was hotfixed so new alts don’t get mail until they leave the island.

You might have mail because you logged into the character before this change. If that’s the case, the only solution I can think of is to submit a ticket or finish the island.

Characters who are still on Exile’s Reach will now earn the WoW’s 16th Anniversary achievement and associated mail upon their first login after escaping the island.

Wait, does Exile’s Reach allow it? I thought all toys were blocked in that zone.

You need to create a ticket to delete the mail.

So submitting ticket to GM might be the way out then, Or just running through . You get some xmogs at least.

It’s super handy. You can’t still do it. And there’s a Weak Aura that makes the mail game easier.

Katy comes from a Legion Dalaran questline. It has nothing to do with professions, which is what makes it awesome. It was also a cute questline.

That’s… an interesting question. I didn’t know that. I’ll have to test this theory.
