So I just got back on a subscription today and I want to delete an old character. Can’t, it says I have mail and cannot be deleted. So I go look in game. Icon says I have mail from NPCs. Nothing in the box at all. Tried again to delete, still says cannot delete because character has mail.
What am I missing?
I did some searching on the forums, and it might just be mail that’s on the way from questgivers that just hasn’t arrived yet. Try again in a day or two, and hopefully that’ll clear itself out.
If the issue persists, you can also try contacting a GM; I’m sure they’d help you out further. Maybe even clear out that mailbox for you.
So it’s on all my characters except the ones I made when I was F2P. They all say that there’s mail in box.
You did say you just resubbed. It might have something to do with that. Your account might just need time to recognize that you’re no longer F2P and that you have a subscription now.
So, yeah, just wait again. Sometimes things glitch out during that process, and that must be what’s happening.
You’d think that would be a thing in this age of technology.
There is, but your payment needs time to clear as well, and until it does…usually within 24 hours…you will still have some trial restrictions such as mail.
