Currently at City of Threads (zone not dungeon) and can’t continue the campaign, whenever I go to accept the quest the High Hollows mobs attack me and at 10 stacks I get expunged from the city.
Super annoying as I’m already 80 and just want to finish the campaign to work on alts, I’ve seen quite a few people report the issue with no fix
You need to enter the city at a specific entrance in order to appear as ‘neutral’ to the citizens. The entrance on the map is located at the delve icon for ‘Tak-Rethan Abyss’. Hope that helps!
Mine isn’t working either. From what I can tell, my pheromones buff didn’t update so now I just get instant attacked by the Eradicators when I enter the town regardless of where I enter. I even tried abandoning quest multiple times and accepting it again, nothing changed.
And this my issue with that same area now…I turned this quest into Anduin and did not receive any other quest to move forward…I checked wowhead and the next quest is from Executor Nizrek " Rewriting the Rewritten" I see the brown/yellow ! on the map and I got too it but the npc Nizrek is not there and mobs on the ground are hostile too me even though I have the pheromnes on me but all mobs around are red hostile…did I miss picking up a quest when I got the Spider on the wall from Anduin ?..I am at a stand still now I can’t 'move forward and complete this campaign…
That worked for me …was going nuts last night trying to figure out where the next quest was …nothing from Anduin when you had in quest Spider on a wall…really right you should get some bread crumb quest to turn you around from where he was to this spot…thank you again .
I opened a ticket and they closed it saying “We do not provide tips and tricks to complete quests”. I don’t need a tip, I need the correct pheromones so that I can complete Attempt to meet Meesk. I saw on WoWHead that someone had to talk to Widow Arak’nai in order to get the pheromones applied, but all I see is the option to accept a quest or to turn in a delve quest.
Edit: Turns out there is a Pheromone Dispenser near Widow Arak’nai. I am unable to interact with that to apply pheromones to myself. So I am completely stuck. I think the only solution if blizzard will not help me is to level an alt and complete the campaign?
I’ve had no resolution, someone had it work with using party sync but i tried that i was able to accept the earlier quest ‘intot the skittering city’ then interact with the pheromone but once it was done channeling i didnt get the buff i stayed in the party while they were doing the quest but still got no credit for the ‘Attempt to meet Meesk’ part of the quest cause i was still unable to talk to the npc.
I tried Party Syncing again. My friend hd just started the campaign in Azj-Kahet and it worked this time. not sure how far before ‘Into the Skittering city’ you have to go but there were a few Pheremone quests so might have to be before any of them.
Same here. Good thing everything worked for Early Access people who paid extra. For those who didnt shill out more money, “we just dont give tips about quests” lmao. Priorities baby.
Having this same issue but on a max level character, i got through the campaign no problem in EA but have since lost the pheromones buff (not sure when) and it’s keeping me from interacting with any NPC in the city locking me out of acquiring 10 profession knowledge and cooking recipes.
The solution seems to be redoing the Azj-Kahet campaign on an alt, i did this yesterday and it didn’t work but decided to try again and this time it reapplied the buff to all my characters.
Still uncertain on what actually causes you to lose the buff unfortunately.
Blizzard is most likely not even aware of this and not planning to fix it. Ticket i made received a human response finally, and they just told me to use the specific entrance solution (Which does not work by the way). So we’re just boned i guess.
Just wanted to post a work that I just tried with a guildie - All we did was Party Sync his (bugged) campaign to mine, and he fixed it. We didn’t have to do any quests, it wasn’t even at the start of the AK campaign (I was at the intro quests to the Weaver’s Lair).
