Reporting an issue where I suddenly can’t connect to battle.net. I was in the game playing fine this morning, then was disconnected mid-pull. Now I can’t connect to battle.net at all. Has been going for about an hour now.
Have you tried renooting your computer.
Yep, reset routers, flush DNS, all the things. There are a few of us talking about it in a different forum all impacted by the same thing. I just posted here to maybe get some customer support folks to see it.
Do you have Cox internet by chance? I’ve seen others saying they’ve had problems this morning.

Yep. In that other thread that seems to be a common denominator, we all are Cox cable customers. It seems some have called Cox and asked for a reset, but didn’t change anything.
Probably won’t help, there are better support articles to direct to then the ticket path, like
and most likely will clear up before a ticket can be answered.
Funny enough had to submit from my phone off wifi because I couldn’t connect and submit the ticket.
Ironically, Twitter is also down for Cox users, so we can’t even click the link 
I had not seen this, thank you. Been thinking about dropping cox for a couple of years now, this isn’t helping their cause=)
The Battle.net app is acting like it can’t connect to the internet and when I log in to every version of wow it gets stuck on ‘logging in to game server’ and disconnects. My internet says it’s up but the interesting thing is battle.net/support doesn’t load and sites like Reddit and Twitter are down. I can still access sites like ESPN and Amazon however. Very strange.

I can log into Classic Era, but cannot log into the anniversary realms
Cox here as well. 100% the same issues. certain sites are working & others arent. It almost like they know they have a monopoly on internet and don’t care about their customers…Looks like even Coxs’ website wont load rofl
Try logging in to Classic Era server first then change the server realm after logging in. Worked for me
I was able to log into old era servers fine, but then switching to anniversary realm it just did the same crap
Just wanted to type in my experiences here so maybe we can resolve this.
I am also experiencing the “World server is down” when attempting to log back in after alt+f4 during one of these freezes.
If the freeze occurs when switching zones/instances I will get error : Instance Transfer Aborted. Just happend while trying to cast a hearthstone during one of these freezes.
Ingame chat seems to continue on. Internet connection outside of the game (discord call) is unaffected.
From what I can tell maybe its a loss of connection to either the “home” or “world” server? I do not use Cox internet.
Got a ticket open heres hoping someone from Blizzard will help investigate this no longer small issue.
