Can't connect to battle.net on my network

Hey, so I just resubbed to wow a few days ago and I was able to play for 2 days and this morning I went to log on and my bnet wouldn’t connect to the internet and when I opened wow I kept getting the BLZBNTBGS80000011 error.

I tried flushing my DNS, resetting my modem, restarting my computer, reinstalling bnet, reinstalling wow, changing to a public DNS, turning off my firewall and updating my drivers and computer

I can connect to bnet and wow via my phone hotspot so I was thinking maybe my ISP (Verizon) maybe blocked bnet but I don’t know why or why it would’ve just happened today.

Howdy Carousels,

The most common cause for this error is security software. I’d suggest adding WoW as an exclusion in any security software you have. If that doesn’t help, uninstall that security software temporarily and then restart the PC and retest WoW. You can always reinstall the security software again once this is resolved.

Hey Zenlaka, thank you for responding. I’m wondering if there could be another issue? I don’t have any security software and wow was working just fine last night.

If you can connect with the hotspot, then it sounds like there may be something happening with the modem. You could try updating the firmware or doing a factory reset but otherwise I’d suggest contacting your ISP to see what could be happening with the modem or on their side that could suddenly start causing this problem.

I’m having the same issue.
