Can't Complete Zaralek Caverns Elite World Quests

Many people having this issue. Objects are completed but the world quests won’t complete and give the quest rewards.

GM from an in game ticket says they couldn’t find anyone else having this issue despite my link to one of the posts above. Trying to post this again in hopes it’ll help… the quests expire at weekly reset.

I’ve tried opening a ticket and got the same generic response. Tried disabling all addons, relogging, reloading, rephasing, redoing some of the objectives in hopes it might complete. Nothing is working.

ive had this problem since tuesday. ive seen posts about it but blizz acts like they dont know about it.

Well <me>, I checked if there were any reports of a similar issue to yours and I wasn't able to find any other players having trouble with it. It is possible you could have ran into something new or a one off. I urge you to please submit a bug report in order for our Devs to take a look at what could have happened and fix it.

After i had literally linked one of the above posts. Not sure if they’re just not reading the ticket or just ignoring the issue like you said.

Still can’t complete it. The contracts triggered the bug first yes, that bug had been fixed going forward, but it hasn’t resolved our issue since we’ve fulfilled the requirements of the quest. I suspect it having to do with the “item” you get in your bags when you enter the zone. Example: The Conductive Lodestone doesn’t work at all for quest “If You Can’t Take the Heat” so you can’t even charge it. The Spear for “We Have Returned” works but you can’t get credit because the quest is “completed”. The fact they’re telling you “drop the quest” is misleading and lazy customer service, you can’t drop a world quest because that’s not how this works.

Indeed there was a hotfix for the quests. But it might be bugged again.

As it is currently a known matter, could you please also report it as bug, to let our developers know that this is still happening to you.
You can either bug report it via Forum:

[Directions, including in-game, removed for brevity.]

Please keep in mind that this won’t create a ticket that you have access to. It will be directed to our developers and there won’t be an answer given directly.

I know that this might not be the answer you were looking for, but it is the only answer we are able to provide.

In short, I still have the issue / the elite quests are still issues (quests, plural, as both remain bugged for me).

The quests are the 2 elite quests currently in the Caldera area:

  • We Have Returned
  • If You Can’t Take The Heat

I have completed all objectives but cannot complete or abandon the quests, without them coming back in the same way when I return to the area.
This is the second time these quests have, and this problem has, come up. :rage:
