Can't comment

The fact that you advertise on FB yet prohibit comments tells me everything I need to know about how things are progressing at WoW HQ. You don’t care in the least about actual input. Act like it all you want, but no. You don’t want the truth.

Not allowing comments on ads is standard practice for ads, not a moral failing on Blizzard’s part.

Where do you think you are? Amazon? Blizzard would never pay someone to leave a positive review for an ad they paid for, ‘eh?

Ah yes, Facebook comment section, the one stop shop for all things truthful.

I don’t think anyone’s searching for “the truth” in Facebook ads.

Around half of all ads I see on FB have comments turned off. I assume it’s to prevent trolling, which makes a lot of sense to me. Join ANY game based group on FB and ready the posts or responses, and it’s pretty clear why anyone would disabled comments on ads on FB. hahaha

No, it’s actually not.

I wouldn’t expect to get any well measured and reasonable feedback from FB

‘facebook’……:-1:

Isn’t that like

what everybody does

Also can’t imagine fb wow comments are anything other than miserable washed players

Mmmmm, I don’t actually know about that one. I feel like the only ones I see them actively disabled for are the rip-off fake phone games. Sometimes other advertisers say there are comments and I can’t see any though, but it’s always those phone games showing off “THEY MADE THE REAL GAME” that have them entirely disabled.

Advertising isnt meant for feedback. Its meant for advertising.

I really do thnk people were born just yesterday

people under the age of 70 still use Facebook?

what’s the issue?

They are totally focused on feedback. Of course they don’t care about feed back from forums since that represents only a small fraction of 1% of the player base. They get feedback from watching the servers and seeing what we are actually doing.

So just go and play and you will be contributing feedback.

Sure they do. That’s why they have forums for the beta. They read the feedback as long as it’s not in the hunter thread.

My parents are 66, so yes. My ma has just become obsessed with it this past year. She shares memes from like 15 years ago. She ticks all the boxes for a classic boomer FB user. Well, aside from not being a conspiracy theorist.

Memories of my children telling me too join myspace so we could connect, finally did then they all left for facebook. I eventually followed them there and then they all left. sigh But I stuck around because some small local businesses post their updates there and it’s the only way to get some local information. It irks me that there isn’t a better way to keep up with local businesses, not all of them keep their websites (if they have one) updated. (this is in small town kansas).

Anyhow….I truly hated using facebook (for many reasons I’ll not go into here) but did for these reasons. And then fb did a favor for me. I had logged out and tried to log back in but for me to get back in they insisted I send them a selfie to prove I was who I said I was. :weary_cat:
