I have noticed multiple quests and npc in multiple zones where the ability to click them to interact and get a quest does not happen. My workaround I discovered was clicking on a different NPC to interact first then the one I needed to interact with can then be clickable and interact. If there is no available additional NPCs than I activate my travelers tundra mount and interact with one of the Grummies, clean my bag or repair, then I dismiss them and try the NPC I need again and it suddenly works. I have no add-ons as the expansion is too new for me to consider them. I play on a MacBook Pro 2022
i get the same thing, i just move away from the npc and go back and it allows me to interact with the quest giver
Yup, I’m getting this same thing. I notice it mostly on quest-giver NPCs. I can usually pick up the first quest okay, but then when I go turn the quest in/pick up the next quest, I can’t interact with the NPC. They face me as if I am targeting them and interacting with them, but no quest bubble pops up for me to interact with, even though I know there’s additional quests. Or sometimes, a quest will pop up when I click on them, but I can’t interact withe “Accept” quest button.
I can always fix it by un-targeting them and running away for a second , then going back and clicking on them again.
