I created a new character, got him to level 10, did all the stormwind intro quests, and did the BFA intro quests up until choosing my questing zone in kul tiras. I hearthed back to SW to go choose my timewalking campaign and i’m not able to talk to Chromie. Does anyone know what i’m supposed to do?
Only reason i can think of is that its a new account?
Im pretty sure new accounts cant do Chromie until they level at least one character.
So, if its not that then idk

Um, have you tried getting the Chromie Time mission from the Table? the one next to the AH
Are any of your characters level 50? Have you logged in as them?
Pretty sure the game needs you to exist as a 50 for it to set the account-wide unlock flags for stuff like Chromie Time.

yes I have 5 character at level 50. I’ve been able to level a new character from level 1 and had no problems. Maybe it’s bugged?
Set SW Hearthstone, speak to Jaina at the docks, see the cutscene until you and Jaina are on the boat in Boralus after cutscene and hearth back. Chromie should be available.
Happened to me too. Happened to all my characters if you pick Tutorial after Exiles Reach.
i’ve done that already. I did the BFA intro quests until I was able to choose a zone to start questing.
No worries. Strange you had to go further. At least you’re out of BfA now.
No, he’s saying he already did what you recommended and even went further into BFA.
He still isn’t able to talk to Chromie.
If you do Exile’s Reach and then choose to do the tutorial in SW, you are unfortunately locked into playing part of BFA to use Chromie. That needs to be changed in my opinion.
I had to do BFA until I got the achievement for completing the full intro and opened the portals. The “Welcome to Kul’Tiras”achievement I think it’s called.
Perhaps they patched it recently then since my last character I did it on.
The system does need changing or the ‘tutorial’ should stop after speaking with Anduin (for not new players).

It’s pretty annoying to have to do part of BFA just to talk to Chromie and do the time walking. It doesn’t seem to me that’s how it should be at all. I don’t do Exile’s Reach anymore because I don’t want to have to do part of BFA every time.
If I start in the normal starting zones, I don’t have any issues. The way it is now honestly feels like a bug to me and not intended.
