On my elemental shaman stormykix-zul’jin, since yesterday, I have been unable to change talent loadouts I get the error: “you can’t change the talent choice while ancestral swiftness is on cd” but this hero talent is not on cd. I’ve tried logging, exiting, swapping toons, waiting 24hrs, deleting the current talent set, disabling all addons, going to proving grounds to reset, even asked for you all to move “unstick” my charachter – nothing works. I’d like to play this toon but can’t if I can’t switch talents so please fix. Forums show this was a problem in Aug of 2024 – was that the original plundersuck? Is that what is causing my inability to play? Blue folks please address and fix my unplayable character.
This forum only has other players that can assist with troubleshooting. I recommend reopening your ticket until you get a resolution and can use the character. It sounds like you have some sort of invisible buff/phase stuck on it.

I seem to remember this being an issue using the sets, and that starting a new talent set, not loading one, fixed it.
I had submitted a ticket and they must have fixed it cause I could play stormbringer last night. But when I went farseer in raid again tonight it broke again and I can’t get back to stormbringer. I tried starting a new talent set and it loaded but wouldn’t let me apply so that’s not working. The solution some people came up with in august is delete all talent sets and restart but yikes. To do that not knowing if it will work… 10 talent sets. So I submitted another ticket in game this time asking them to unstick it and what I forgot last time – please make it so it doesn’t happen again. Kind of thought the 2nd was obvious but I added the specificity this time in my ticket.

The ticket worked again… within hours…or the problem is timing out. Hopefully won’t happen again.
I would recommend a post in bugs, or a bug report in game, to get qa to at least see if it is working as intended.
