Same here.
Same thing here, when trying to cast Ring of Frost. Luckily for me, neither of my builds use ground-targeted spells much (Arcane), but this is pretty bad.
Adding my name to the list, same issue.
It seems like random blocks of space where I can / can’t cast. Like others, not having reliable access to 3 defensives cost me some matches in Arena before I realized what was happening.

Just jumping into add a +1 to the “same here” column.
HOWEVER: slight workaround (not perfect for all spells or situations)
Make macros and add [@player] and it will cast the spell at your feet. So trying to run keys last night I was using
#showtooltip Death and Decay
/cast [@player] Death and Decay
To at least be able to use it to some extent.
I’m having the same problem. I first noticed it last night with Efflorescence (druid) and Volley (hunter). I was hoping that the reboot this morning would fix it, but it’s still happening. It’s happening even with addons completely removed. The server I was on crashed last night so I tried a different server and it’s happening there too.
One thing that I noticed was that if I keep spamming Efflorescence while moving the mouse around, eventually it might find a good spot and cast, but it won’t always be where you expect. I was standing on the upper mailbox area of the alliance garrison and when the spell finally landed, it appeared underground by about twice my character’s height. I could only tell because I could see the edge of it poking out from the embankment below.
I am also playing on a Mac.
Seems to be a Mac issue… doubt they’re gonna prioritize fixing it :\ time to take a break from WoW… too many bugs first season
2019 MB Pro I5 still having this issue. No dome is big sad in arena.
Have they fixed it? I just logged into a druid and spammed Efflorescence until oom in an area that was giving me trouble and didn’t have any trouble. I then tried Volley on a hunter and Cataclysm on a warlock with no trouble. Then I ran a timewalking dungeon on the druid with no trouble. I’m cautiously optimistic.
No. It will sometimes work for a few minutes after a restart of the game and in a couple spots in open world, but 90% not fixed.
Seems fixed for me, after I downloaded a small (few hundred MB?) update.
