Am I missing something here?
The chat window size can be adjusted. You have to be in Edit mode, and have the chat window highlighted (so it’s yellow) and then there’s a sizer in the bottom right corner that you can drag.
I don’t think you can adjust the bags, but what options do you mean?
Edit: Fozzy is correct: the sizer isn’t in the exact bottom right corner of the highlighted window portion, but the corner of the chat box–and it’s not easy at all to see that!

To be clear, it’s not in the dead bottom-right of the highlighted window. It’s in the bottom right of the chat box itself. Took me surprisingly long to figure this out.

Moving the bag icon elsewhere, resizing it… same with the micro menu. Just missing options. Resizing the mini map is also missing.

Yeah, I just gave up and used Bartender4 to resize the bags icons and micro menu, and I’ve just now installed BasicMinimap to fix the minimap issues.
yeah i cant move the bag at all apparently but that’s not all… the bag isnt on the very top layer anymore so my details hides a bunch of slots lol.
didnt find any option in details or the bag regarding layers.
The box that had the slider for other elements does not have it for the chat window.
I refuse to use Bartender. I’m still mad at the Dominos creator for saying, “new UI does everything, I’m not updating Dominos” when Dominos did a crap ton more than the base UI. 
There’s no box. Click the chat window frame while in edit mode and look at the bottom right hand corner. You’ll see the resizing triangle in it.

You are correct! I did that earlier today (and have done so many other things since) that I forgot how hard it was to see it the first time you try to do it.
Oh wow thanks. That was not intuitive at all. It was actually hidden by the yellow box until I hovered over it.
