Cannot add embellishment to recraft. Is this intended? I thought you could recraft to add stuff later?
The embellishment gets auto cleared by my work bench UI
When I submit an embellishment for a recraft work order the embellishment stays in the UI but once I submit the work order it stays in my bags and everything else goes.
Please fix this, I spent all of my knowledge to get to crafting my own Jewelcrafting neck with embellishment and I can’t even use it…
The same is true for me. It lets me add the embellishment but does not actually apply it when i hit recraft.
Just bumping to confirm this still does not work.
This just happened to me when recrafting a neck to 392. It had an existing embellishment removed… we tried recrafting again and the embellishment is not being removed from my bags. The embellishment option just clears out in the work order UI. The crafter said he showed the embellishment when he did the recraft but in the UI log history shows it cleared out… I know I selected it. He said he has done plenty of other recrafts with embellishments… now I am out a good chunk of gold.
Bumping as I’m running into this issue as well. For additional context I am trying to re-craft my JC neck I made myself and add an embellishment. The embellishment doesn’t even show up in the preview.
A few notes about my situation if it helps:
I crafted the neck piece before specializing in the embellishment to jewelry node - not sure if this is causing the issue.
Attempting to craft a new piece with an embellishment looks like it works in the preview
When I add an embellishment to the recraft window, I am unable to right click to remove it.
I had the embellishment skill when crafting the original necklace, but when trying to recraft with embellishment: I was unable to.
Confirmed still an issue after server reset. Re-crafting trying to add an embellishment still doesn’t work - but adding a missive (even though I didn’t specialize in adding missive to jewelry when it was created) worked. 
Confirmed still doesn’t work.
Can confirm once again, doesn’t work. Recrafted for a buddy and we cannot reapply the embellishment

Is this happening to rings for anyone? It happened to me SPECIFICALLY for the neck 'Torc of Passed Time". I had a buddy who recrafted his ring, and it worked just fine for the ring.

Had this happen last night.
Torc of passed time, recrafted to 5* quality from 3*, lost my embelishment but did get 5*.
Opened a ticket which they closed, but I reopened it… I want my embelishment fixed.
Bumping, Jewelcrafter here with the Personal Crafter achievement already ;).
Can confirm from multiple recrafts that the Torc of Passed time does not keep the embellishments but the ring Signet of Titanic Insight does!
Hoping for a fix soon as I have many people wanting to upgrade their Necks to 392 with the embellishment.

I had a “Torc of Passed Time” with “Alchemical Flavor Pocket” when recrafting it was removed, the missive continued.
Even if I try to recraft again, I can’t add the “Embellishment”
