I tried looking and asking for help, this is kinda my last stop. Know this runs the risk of not being able to do what is the climax of Delves in Season 1, but I’m out of options.
I have done a lot of Delves, Brann is nearing level 40, I’ve cleared up to T11 with lives remaining, and I’m Ilvl 614 almost 615.
I haven’t fought Zekvir yet, namely because for as long as I had the requirements unlocked he hasn’t wanted to open his doors: It’s just a big ol’ fog gate. No prompt, no error message, nothing. It’s just a giant physical barrier.
I tried abandoning and reaccepting the quest. I tried with and without addons (I only use three). I tried a full UI reset. It seems no matter what I do he just really doesn’t want to fight me.
I don’t know what else to try, so I’m posting it here. Would like to at least give his hard mode fight at least a try before the season ends.
I don’t have any first hand knowledge that this could be the problem, but I wonder if there is some quest phasing in that area that is keeping the entrance portal from working. Do you have any unfinished quests in that zone you could try completing and recheck?
I’ll try that here in a bit, just got up. Go to sleep a bit early nowadays.
Like any other Delve: I go up to the foggy bit. This is the only one that does absolutely nothing as opposed to showing an overview, difficulty selection, etc.
Well I feel a bit silly now. I did so and that brought up the usual screen.
Sorry folks, absolutely wouldn’t have thought to click on the door since, yeah, none of the other ones required it. Worse I play on Gamepad mode so the thought would never cross my mind.
For future reference, clicking the door is also another way to bring back the dialog window on any other delve if you happen to close it after walking into range.
Likewise, once you’ve finished any delve and taken the little 'copter back to the entrance, you can just click the door to immediately zone out instead of bothering with the “do you want to leave?” popup.
