I just started BM for the first time and I can’t abandon my default first pet that I got when I started this character. I can abandon all my other pets but him. I stabled him and went to resummon my pets and I still get him and another pet summoned even tho I left him at the stable. Am I doing something wrong or am I not allowed to abandon the first pet?

Are you using Animal Companion?
From my understanding — BM mains, please correct me if I’m wrong — it’s the first pet in your stable slots that gets summoned. So just switch him with another pet, and that should fix the problem.
(I didn’t know you couldn’t abandon your starting pet. Huh!)
EDIT: or if you only want to use one pet, then choose another talent than Animal Companion.

I have animal companion, I am fine with two pets, it’s just that the first slot pet which is my dog pet from like level 10 keeps getting summoned. I want to either abandon it or put it away so I can use my other pets but each time I summon my pets, it’s always there.

Swap his position. The pet in position #1 is the one that will be summoned.

Will it always summon 1st and 2nd pets? I took off animal companion and then I could abandon the default pet, once I put it back on it seems I can only abandon what ever pet is first.
The “companion” pet will always be the one in the first position of your stable.
