Nick Fury was white for decades too, then they cast Samuel L. Jackson to play him in the Marvel movies. Did you also get mad about that?
That’s what they did. The old portal trainer, who held the job for decades, was promoted. A new up and coming portal trainer was promoted into her old position.

A week ago they added ever darker versions than the already existing dark skin tones. But the game has never not had dark skinned humans.
They made him black in the comics too, sunshine.
and comics are known for having 100 different universes and timelines, so what if he’s black in some, when he was white did he ever just randomly change white in the same universe?
So I ask again: what is your coherent explanation as to why we never saw these very dark skinned humans until 1 week ago?
Different continuity.
The main comic universe Nick fury is still white. The Marvel Cinematic universe Nick fury was never not been black.

No, it wasn’t “random” - a writer decided it made sense, just like they did here.
We did. They were just all using the old dark skin before.
and it never happened in a preexisting universe, cause that would come across as insensitive and strange. it was always in another timeline/universe he’d be black.
