the item restore service is kind of dumb.
I want to restore a trinket I previously disenchanted, but I cannot because it happens that this trinket had given me a shimmering dust. the special catch up item for enchanting.
well guess what, I can’t get any dust because I’m no longer behind on my profession and therefore cannot use the restoration service as it absolutely requires a special Item you cannot get.
that is seriously stupid.
The item restoration service requiring all items received from disenchanting to get the item back isn’t a bug.
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature !

All you have to do is get behind on knowledge so you start getting catchup items again.
