I have completed the DF campaign and have renown 18 with the Dragonscale Expedition, but neither Doc Nanners in Valdrakken nor Pathfinder Jeb at the basecamp have quests that would get me started at climbing.
The following both returned false, and the associated quests are not currently in my quest log as in-progress quests.

Hey there, Eloril! I am in the same boat with you and a few others. I just made a separate post and hopefully this will get fixed soon / noticed by the community.
This seems to stem from Doc Nanners not offering the quest A Climber’s Calling since the launch of 10.2.7 (Darkheart). We will be patient together and keep raising awareness for this so hopefully it can be fixed and we can complete Taivan :).

Seems fixed when I checked Doc. Nanners in Valdrakken just now who has “A Climber’s Calling” quest available.
Did you do anything specific to get it to work? I am in the same boat
I don’t think so. I just noticed the quest was available for taking that day.
