When they closed Chaos Bolt, I moved some characters to the forced destination server Crusader Strike. This is now my main server with multiple 60s.
I have several alts from lvls 25 to 53 I still have on Chaos Bolt because a blue post said the transfers would not be time limited.
These alts are unable to get a transfer to anywhere except Wild Growth, a PvE server I have no characters on. Fresh horde characters I make are able to transfer to Crusader Strike with no issue.
I understand that transfers are faction locked.
However.
I am able to make a fresh alliance character on Lone Wolf and transfer it to Crusader Strike with no issue.
Me moving characters would not alter the population balance in any way as I am already playing on that server and faction with my main characters right now.
I do not know who to ask or even where to get information about this issue. There is no in game resource explaining what to do. Even paying money for a transfer doesn’t seem to be an option. Please help me.
you cant have horde and ally toons on the same pvp server.
Because the way the transfers were rolled out u can absolutely have horde and Ali on the same server. I do
I can’t transfer from Chaos Bolt to Crusader Strike either. The only option is Wild Growth. All of mine are Alliance. Should I just wait for it to balance out? Will this be an option to transfer them as more are added?
Blizz just botched it. I’m sure they thought it up to further penalize anyone who remained on CB.
PS: I’m back. BWahahhaha.
One month later I still cannot transfer alliance characters on Chaos Bolt to Crusader Strike.
Fresh alliance I make on Lone Wolf (PVP) are immediately offered the ability to transfer to Crusader Strike.
What is the difference between those two servers.
did you really write this 13 days ago while being so horribly wrong on how it works in SOD post the merge. lmfao. Meanwhile everyone else with multiple 60 horde and Ally toons on CS rn on the same account.
They changed the designation of Crusader Strike from RP-PvP to PvP when it became the PvP megaserver.
This is the only thing I can think of that would have blocked further transfers from Chaos Bolt to Crusader Strike. The fact that they never fixed it makes it seem like it was by design rather than plain incompetence though.
Unfortunate and dumb, but kind of par for the course when it comes to Blizzard most days.
One month later still unable to transfer alliance characters from Chaos Bolt to Crusader Strike.
Alliance characters from other realms are able to be transferred to Crusader Strike.
New alliance characters are able to be created on Crusader Strike.
The blue post says “These transfers are not time limited, and PvP enforced faction balance remains in effect on Crusader Strike-US.”
Clearly this was a lie.

I think you can IF you have someone who is on your friends list there. They used to do that in the past, I see no reason why that should have stopped. See if you can get in that way.
