Cannot trade cold weather flying tome to alts on same bnet account

Not sure what that has to do with anything I said. Back in original Vanilla the modern Battle.Net 2.0 was not a thing.

Who cares about anything back in vanilla when everything client related uses retail tech?

Then why do they benefit from instant mail? Don’t lie.

Instant mail is irrelevant.

This has nothing to do with bots since there would be no way to get a purchased account moved under your bnet.

How is instant mail irrelevant when it exists because multiple accounts linked under 1 battle.net account are all considered one account? Also explain why account-bound rewards (EVEN BOOSTS) are available on all accounts under the linked battle.net account.

If you can buy more then one boost it sounds like two separate accounts.

No you can’t… I can buy a boost on account 1 and use it on account 2 but I am limited to only 1 boost for the entire bnet account

Then why are bind-on-account items like the pet and mount available on all accounts under the battle.net account?

Wrong. All my game accounts are on the same BNet and all used a boost.

Tell that to my accounts that have been sharing stuff long before classic existed.

Account Bound Items
Many “Account Bound” heirlooms are now labeled as “Battle.net Account Bound”, meaning that they can also be traded or mailed to characters that are on different World of Warcraft accounts under the same Battle.net account.
Mail sent to characters on the same Battle.net account now arrives instantaneously, as it does for the same World of Warcraft account.
Mailing account-bound items to characters of the opposite faction on the same Battle.net account will now correctly translate faction-specific items to their appropriate equivalent.

You’re wrong. I used one on each account… both times.

Well apparently not everyone can do that

Additionally, the pet and mount, which are account-bound, can be redeemed on ALL accounts under a battle.net account. Everything but Tome of Cold Weather Flight and heirlooms can be sent to alts on the same bnet account.

This entirely killed the prospect of alts for me tbh. Gonna cancel my 2 other subs and just ride with 1 toon.

“nOt aN oVeRsiGt or bUg!!!”

This was hotfixed today to allow for proper mailing of bind on account items to all accounts on your battle.net account.

So glad I found this because I was about to buy 1

I found this thread with a Google search, so I should mention that this problem was fixed on the Sept 29th patch. I just tested it, and it worked between two accounts on the same bnet account.

  • Fixed an issue preventing Heirlooms, Tome of Cold Weather Flying, Northrend Faction Helm Enchant Arcanums, and Sons of Hodir Shoulder Inscriptions from being transferable to other WoW accounts.

Wrong, I just traded a set of BOA gear to toon on alt battle.net account.

You are replying to a post made before the hotfix

This is not true. I have 2 WoW accounts and have moved BoA items between different WoW accounts on the same BNet account.

It is only the same WOW account not BNET.
