Cannot track Earth Shield

Not only is the earth shield buff not in Blizzard’s CD manager, it’s completely secret. So you can’t even use an addon to track the buff. At least not as enhance shaman.

This HAS to get fixed. This is a buff that can not only be dispelled, but drops off every 9 hits and has a talent tied to it that has to be triggered before that and heals based on the number of charges left.

Seems like a pretty crazy oversight to leave earth shield buff out of what can be tracked. Particularly given how garbage shaman defenses are and how must worse they are getting in midnight with removal of thunderstorm and stone bulwark totem (and recent removal of ancestral guidance).

Same goes for skyfury buff as well. Which can also be dispelled…

I can’t post this on the beta forums because, for the first time since Vanilla, I didn’t preorder because I’m not sure I’m going to buy the expansion given the addon purge and current state of the default UI. Still in wait and see mode.

Following this.

This is intentional. All combat related data is on lockdown. So, while frustrating, Blizzard did it intentionally so we can all play as they intended.

I suspect it’s an oversight. I fully understand the addon purge. But, Blizzard is still letting you track your own personal buffs and CDs.

Almost all of our personal buffs and CDs are in CD manager. As is the case for every other class/spec. Lightning shield can be tracked for example. Just not earth shield.

I think Blizzard just missed a few.

This is a really frustrating aspect of Blizzard taking over the UI - we are at their mercy to fix their own oversights and mistakes and they have a pretty bad track record when it comes to providing timely fixes.

they got plenty of feedback in beta. No chance it’s an oversight

They have a lot on their plate with the UI overhaul on top of getting Midnight ready.

Hopefully they’ll do another pass and fix the missing stuff before release.

I don’t see any reason to think it’s intentional.

It…doesnt’ show up on the basic party frame like it has for all time?
